Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to this deployment of the AI character chat service (the "Service"). The "operator" is the person or organization operating this particular instance of the Service and identified in the "Operator and contact details" panel on this page.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and at least the age of legal majority where you live. You must also be legally able to enter into these Terms. Any age affirmation you provide must be truthful. The operator may refuse or end access when these requirements are not met.

Characters, conversations, images, memories, emotions, relationships, and life events presented by the Service are fictional or simulated. AI characters are not human, sentient, conscious, licensed professionals, or emergency responders. Their statements are generated content, not proof of real-world facts, actions, feelings, or promises.

Characters supplied by the operator are fictional creations. They are not based on or modeled after, and are not intended to depict or refer to, any actual person, living or dead. Any similarity in a name, appearance, voice, biography, event, or other characteristic is coincidental and does not imply identity, endorsement, affiliation, or authorization.

Generative AI is probabilistic and unpredictable. Even when a response sounds confident or personal, it may be:

• inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, fabricated, or outdated;
• biased, offensive, unsafe, or unsuitable for your situation;
• inconsistent with earlier messages, stored memory, a character profile, or your instructions; or
• unexpected in tone, content, behavior, image generation, or refusal behavior.

Use your own judgment and independently verify information before relying on it or acting on it. You are responsible for decisions you make based on Service content.

Do not use the Service as a substitute for medical, mental-health, legal, financial, tax, safety, or other professional advice. Do not rely on it to diagnose, treat, prevent, or respond to any condition or risk. In an emergency or when someone may be in danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate qualified professional; the Service does not monitor chats as an emergency channel.

Keep account credentials secure and provide accurate registration and age information. You are responsible for activity through your account and should promptly report suspected unauthorized access to the privacy and support email displayed in the "Operator and contact details" panel on this page.

Only submit text, prompts, images, character materials, or other content that you have the right and necessary consent to use. Do not submit another person's confidential information or sensitive personal data without authority. You remain responsible for your inputs and your use, disclosure, or publication of outputs.

If the Service lets you create or customize a character, you may not design, configure, or use that character to represent, impersonate, depict, refer to, or be based on an actual person, living or dead, or imply endorsement or authorization by that person or their estate.

You grant the operator a non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transmit, format, and display your content only as reasonably needed to provide, maintain, secure, diagnose, and support the Service. Rights in AI-generated output may vary by law; the operator does not promise that an output is unique, protectable, non-infringing, or available for any particular use.

You may not use the Service to commit, attempt, solicit, plan, facilitate, materially assist, or conceal an unlawful act. This includes using content from the Service as operational help for unlawful conduct. Examples include:

• child sexual abuse or exploitation, grooming, or sexual content involving minors;
• non-consensual intimate content, sexual violence, trafficking, stalking, doxxing, extortion, or credible threats;
• terrorism, violent extremism, murder, assault, kidnapping, or other violent wrongdoing;
• fraud, scams, phishing, impersonation, identity theft, money laundering, or evasion of lawful controls;
• malware, credential theft, unauthorized access to systems or accounts, sabotage, or destructive cyber activity;
• unlawful manufacture, acquisition, or distribution of weapons, controlled substances, or other contraband; or
• concealing evidence, obstructing an investigation, or helping a person evade lawful accountability.

The prohibition above does not bar good-faith lawful discussion, fictional depiction or role-play, news reporting, academic research, harm prevention, safety analysis, or reporting suspected wrongdoing merely because it concerns crime or other illegal activity. Context and purpose matter. Calling a request fictional, educational, or hypothetical does not permit operational assistance intended to enable unlawful conduct.

You also may not infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; harass or exploit others; impersonate a person deceptively; evade safety or access controls; probe or disrupt the Service; introduce malicious code; scrape or automate access without permission; overload infrastructure; or use the Service in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights.

Chats are not published to other members as public conversations, but they are not confidential communications or an encrypted vault. Content is processed by the operator's systems and configured service providers. Authorized staff or administrators may occasionally review prompts, chat content, and outputs for diagnostics, support, safety, and security, and administrators may review generated-image prompts and outputs. Do not submit content that you cannot accept being processed or reviewed in this way.

Review the Privacy Policy for more detail, including retention, deletion limits, provider processing, and eligible cross-user reuse of some AI-directed character images.

The Service may depend on third-party AI inference, image generation, authentication, email, hosting, storage, network, or cache services. Their availability, security, processing, outputs, and retention practices are outside the operator's complete control and may be governed by their own terms and policies. Links or integrations do not mean the operator endorses or warrants a third party.

The operator may add, remove, limit, suspend, modify, reset, or discontinue any feature or the entire Service at any time. The Service may be interrupted, delayed, unavailable, corrupted, or changed without notice.

There is no warranty or promise that any account, message, chat history, character, generated output, image, relationship progress, persona, preference, or memory will be saved, remembered, synchronized, available, backed up, recoverable, or retained for any period. Storage and history features are conveniences, not archival, backup, or recordkeeping services. Keep your own copy of anything you need. Deletion may be permanent, while a deletion request may not immediately remove every operational or provider copy as described in the Privacy Policy.

The operator may investigate suspected misuse and may restrict, suspend, or terminate access, remove content, or preserve and disclose information when reasonably necessary to operate or secure the Service, enforce these Terms, protect people or rights, or comply with law. The operator does not promise to monitor every interaction or identify every violation.

You may stop using the Service at any time and may use available account-deletion controls. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including disclaimers, liability limits, and responsibility for prior conduct—continue to apply.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT, MODELS, CHARACTERS, OUTPUTS, IMAGES, FEATURES, AND THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR PROMISES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE.

THE OPERATOR DISCLAIMS, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, SAFETY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE. THE OPERATOR DOES NOT WARRANT AI BEHAVIOR, OUTPUTS, REFUSALS, PERSONALITY, CONTINUITY, MEMORY, DATA PERSISTENCE, ERROR CORRECTION, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS OR BE UNINTERRUPTED OR HARMLESS.

Some laws do not allow particular warranty exclusions. These disclaimers apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and do not limit any rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR AND PEOPLE OR ENTITIES ASSISTING WITH THE SERVICE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OPPORTUNITIES, GOODWILL, USE, OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, AI BEHAVIOR OR OUTPUT, THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, UNAVAILABILITY, DATA LOSS, OR YOUR RELIANCE OR CONDUCT, UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, EVEN IF ADVISED THAT SUCH HARM WAS POSSIBLE.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or a consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

The operator may update these Terms as the Service, its providers, or legal requirements change. The updated version will show a new last-updated date. When required by law, additional notice or consent will be provided. Continuing to use the Service after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.

If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only as much as necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver.
